Gravemaker+Scott
Thomas Gravemaker est né à Amsterdam où il fit ses études, avant de s'installer à Londres en 1984. Après y avoir travaillé pour plusieurs maisons d'édition, il déménage à Paris à la fin des annéees 1980. Il y crée son studio et travaille pour des éditeurs et des musées en France et au Royaume-Uni.
Christine Scott est née en Écosse et fit ses études à Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Elle a travaillé dans la mode – création et tendances – à Londres, Amsterdam et Paris, avant de devenir conseillère pour les sociétés Aveda et Bumble&Bumble. Elle publie regulièrement des articles concernant le design, les intérieurs et l'architecture dans plusieurs revues.
En 2007, Thomas et Christine fondent Gravemaker+Scott.
Thomas Gravemaker was born in Amsterdam and trained there before moving to London in 1984. After having worked with several London-based book publishers he moved to Paris at the end of the 1980s, and set up his own studio, working for museums and publishers in France and the United Kingdom.
Scottish born Christine Scott trained in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. She has worked in fashion, design and forecasting in London, Paris and Amsterdam, before moving into design consultancy, working as a consultant with Aveda and Bumble & Bumble. She regularly writes articles on design, interiors and architecture for various magazines.
In 2007, Thomas and Christine established Gravemaker+Scott.
