Gravemaker+Scott
Thomas Gravemaker was born in Amsterdam and trained there before moving to London in 1984. After having worked with several London-based book publishers he moved to Paris at the end of the 1980s, and set up his own studio, working for museums and publishers in France and the United Kingdom.
Scottish born Christine Scott trained in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. She has worked in fashion, design and forecasting in London, Paris and Amsterdam, before moving into design consultancy, working as a consultant with Aveda and Bumble & Bumble. She regularly writes articles on design, interiors and architecture for various magazines.
At the end of 2012, Thomas and Christine moved to Amsterdam. They opened a LetterpressAmsterdam, a letterpress studio in the centre of the city,.
